Those well-known vacation sites make it impossible for Guests to have any contact with the owners before payment is secured. We know that planning a vacation can be stressful and there's nothing worse than not being able to pick up the phone and have an actual conversation with a person and getting answers or clarification before committing payment - especially if you have a large group to coordinate. That's no way to start your vacation!
