Hot Tub Info, Guidelines & Waiver

The safety of all our guests is our highest priority. We maintain our hot tub the highest standard of hygiene and performance so you and your guests can enjoy a relaxing stay. To ensure a safe environment for all guests, we require strict adherence to the following guidelines and protocols.


Please read this carefully as you are responsible for damage caused by non compliance with these guidelines. Be advised that violation will result in charges deducted from the Booking Guests Security Deposit, up to termination of your Guest Rental Agreement without refund.

GUEST HOT TUB INFORMATION

CAPACITY

  • The hot tub is for the private use and enjoyment for Registered Guests only.

  • No 'drop in' or 'visting' guests are allowed at any time. Violations will be cause for termination of the Agreement without refund.

SUPERVISION & AGE LIMITS

  • Sorry no children under the age of 5 are permitted in the hot tub.

  • Children under the age of 18 must always be supervised by a responsible adult.

SCHEDULE OF OPERATIONS

  • The hot is open from April 1 - November 31 (unless otherwise specified), however not guaranteed due to mechanical and weather conditions.

  • From time to time, the hot tub may be closed for unforeseen reasons such as repair or inclement weather.

  • The hot tub water levels and quality may suffer due to heavy rainstorms, high winds or other circumstances caused by nature.

TEMPERATURE SETTINGS

Because the hot tub is located on the exterior exposed to the weather elements, we're unable to control the water temperature and clarity completely.

  • The hot tub temperature is programmed and locked for both safety of our guests guests and equipment. Please do not attempt to override.

  • Target temperature are based on average seasonal temperatures. These may be adjusted for unseasonal weather.

    • April 1 - June 31: 104F

    • July 01 - Aug. 31: 97F

    • Sept. 01 - Nov. 21: 104F

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

  • The hot tub is carefully inspected prior to check-in and immediately after check-out.

  • During your stay, it may be necessary to have access to the hot tub and its equipment room for service. To that end, any maintenance either for scheduled standard service or emergency service/repair will be communicated and coordinated to the Primary Booking Guest.

  • The hot tub water is tested before each guest check-in to comply with the recommendation of the state of Wisconsin and general hot tub standards.

  • We take every precaution to ensure that all hot tub equipment is propertly maintained and serviced. In the event there is an equipment failure during your stay, we will make every effort to repair it in a timely manner. However in those instances, use of the hot tub is not guaranteed.

EQUIPMENT & TOWELS

COVER CARE

The hot tub cover may not be used as a table, for seating, or for laying. Do not sit, stand, lay down on, jump on, or place items on it.

AFTER EACH USE

Turn off all jets and replace the cover immediately after EACH use to maintain safety, heat and cleanliness.

TOWELS

Please place used towels in the utility sink in the laundry room or hang them in the bathrooms. Leaving them outside overnight may cause damage or loss.

HYGIENE & WATER QUALITY

PRE SOAK SHOWER

All guests must shower before entering the hot tub to remove all lotions, oils and perfumes. These products cause cloudy water and damage the filtration system.

NO ADDITIVES

Absolutely no soap, bath oil or bubbles allowed in the hot tub. This includes food and drinks. Violations will require the hot tub to be drained and refilled. This cost will be deducted for your Deposit.

ALLERGY NOTICE

Chlorine is used as a sanitizer, as well as other hot tub chemicals. Do not enter the hot tub if you have an allergy. If unsure consult your physician.

STANDARD ETIQUETTE

Nudity, sexual activity or urinating in the hot tub or anywhere on the exterior of the home is strictly prohibitted and cause for immediate termination of yoru Guest Renatl Agreement without refund.

APPROVED ATTIRE

Only clean, dedicated swimwear is allowed. Street clothes are not allowed as the introduce lint and dergent that damage the filtration system.

HEALTH & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

MEDICAL CONSULTATION

Guests with heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, or other serious illness or conditions should not use the hot tub without consulting a physician.

PREGNANCY & ELDERLY GUESTS

For safety, elderly individuals and pregnant women are advised to not use the hot tub.

GLASS PROHIBITION

Absolutely no glass of any kind (including those beverages purchased in a glass container) is allowed in the hot tub or hot tub area for any reason or at any time. Broken glass will require a professional drain, deep clean and refilled.

SOBRIETY REQUIRED

The use of excessive alcohol, drugs, or medication that can cause impairment before or during hot tub use is strictly prohibited, as it greatly increases the risk of drowning.

SOAK TIME

Limit your session to 15 minutes. Exit and cool off before re-entry to avoid overheating. If you feel faint or dizzy, do not enter the hot tub.

DONT SOAK ALONE

For safety never use the hot tub alone.

SMOKING/VAPING

Smoking or vaping is not allowed in the hot tub area.

ENTRY & EXIT

Use caution when entering and exiting the hot tub and its area. Always use the stairs provided to enter and exit the hot tub. Never jump into the hot tub to avoid injury and damage to the tub.

GAZEBO

For your safety and those around you, never hang for any part of the gazebo.

WATER TOYS & FLOATS

Refrain from using any toys or floats in the hot tub (both regular, water or pool). These items may interfere with the filter and create clogging or restrict visibility for supervision.

DRAIN HAZARDS

Ensure children sit away from suction drain covers to prevent entanglement.

The hot tub cover must always remain on when the hot tub is not in use.

Guest with illnesses should not use the pool withotu consulting a physician.

PREVENTING INJURY

  • Always enter and exit the tub using the designated stairs.

  • The hot tub area can be slippery. Use caution when entering and exiting the hot tub and hot tub area.

  • No running, rough play, splashing, diving or jumping is allowed in the hot tub area, it will increase the risk of injury.

PRE ESTIMATE REPAIR & REPLACEMENT

In the unfortunate circumstances where repair and or replacement is necessary, please find the list below that represents a reasonable pre-estimate of the costs for remediation are not intended as a penalty. These costs may or may not include, but are not limited to, professional service/emergency calls, water utility costs, chemical replacement, material for repair, labor and loss of use for subsequent guests.

Excessive Cleaning / Heavy Soiling: $200 - $300

Visible sand, mud, heavy oils that require extra filtration cycles or manula scrubbing, but do not necessitate a full drain.


Foreign Substance "Drain and Fill": $350 - $550

Water left murky, foamy or containing "foreign substances" like bubble bath, glitter, soaps, lotions, food, drinks, excessive sand, dirt or any other harmful material that can damage the hot tub equipment and or compromise the water quality. This covers the professional labor and hours required to drain, clean, sanitize, refill chemical rebalancing and reheat the tub.


Reheat of Water: $50- $100

Should the water require reheating due to excessive cleaning or drain and fill, an additional fee for rehaeting the tub water to its target temperature will be required:

  • Spring/Summer $50

  • Fall/Winter $100

Professional Repairs/Hot Tub Cover Damage: $150 - $1200

Damage to the gazebo, lighting, hot tub furnishing, fixing broken handles, hinges, patching or waterlogging caused by the cover being left off exposed to rain, guests sitting or standing on the cover.


Hot Tub Left Uncovered/Lid Open: $50 -$550

Leaving the hot tub uncovered upon departure or for extended periods during the stay, leading to excessive energy loss or debris accumulation.


Loss of Use: $500 - $1200 per day

We want everyone to enjoy a pristine hot hot. Should the tub require a deep clean or repair due to Registered guest use misuse that prevent the next arriving guests or future guests from using it, a "Loss of Use" fee will be charges to cover guest compensation and remidation costs.
